Feedings are going great! They started Lincoln out on .5ml per hour continuous feedings on Friday and today they increased it to 1ml per hour! He is taking to the feedings very well so far.. which was a very big concern for us, so we are relieved. Greg is going back to work on Monday but I am unsure of my own plans...

Oh Lora, I feel bad you both with having to go back to work, and deal with this. Hopefully you can get some of those half days, and work it all out. Glad to see little Linc is starting to eat. Just the beginning of another sucess. Hang in there. We are thinking about you all.

ReplyDeleteI have been where you are and our daughter turned 2 in January and she was born at 27 weeks and weighed 2 lbs 7 oz. You will have a lot of ups and then hit a speed bump as you already know but pray pray pray I am a firm believer after being in a NICU for 3 months prayer works and you see miracles happen every day. Don't ever feel there's no hope because before you know it you will see light at the end of that tunnel. If you need someone to talk to who has been through all this please DO NOT hesitate to call me. Maybe hearing something from my experience will help you out?? I can only hope our experience can help others and this blog is a GREAT thing I wish we would of had. Just know there are so many praying for you and that little Lincoln and he is loved by many.
