Hey guys!! Watch me pull out my oxygen and laugh!!Lincoln is doing well.... they started slow feeds into his g-tube of Elecare (a special formula)... hopefully it goes ok.. 1 ml per hour on direct connect... he also has a hernia (or two) but that will be dealt with further down the road! He had a new brain ultrasound today but no one can tell us what the results are yet... that worries me but maybe it will be good news... nagging feeling that when they are secretive they are hiding the truth until we get there... praying tomorrow afternoon is not bad news delivered to us in a special room... sooooo tired of this run-around!!!!!!
I've learned that this hellacious experience has changed me immensely... one year ago I would've never had the nerve to be so direct with a doctor or ask questions like I do now... but I also know that Lincoln is our son.... and we will do anything to help him and give him the attention and care that he needs... as frustrating as this whole ordeal is... we know he is the focus.
He is soooo sweet and sooo cute... he tries to touch the monkeys in his rainforest crib toy and his grandma/grandpa Phyllis bought him an awesome swing that he LOVES to be in!! We also used our 'anniversary' money to buy him a little flat screen tv for his crib.. now he can watch tv or Barney dvd's!!!
We brought the camper back to Meeker.... we loved the Cardinal Center and everyone there was sooo amazing and kind... we will miss the Cardinal and the staff so much!
It's going to be a very very busy month... Cole has a birthday August 20 (10 years old..wow!), Greg is back to Athletic Director stuff and school starts soon... we were really hoping Linc would be home by now but it sounds like we have several more months of Childrens... :( .... We celebrate our first wedding anniversary Saturday... it has really flown by!!
