Skunks, Cadillac's, and Elephant Masks!

So this is the dreaded ugly cpap we were talking about! Pooor baby.. and he hates it!! But.. it is much better for his lungs than the vent was. His wound is not doing all that well.. they actually installed this thing called a 'wound vac' on his wound. Greg calls it a shop vac...haha. It is to suck the liquid out of the wound area... the wound is sooo separated that it looks terrible but this thing should help it. He also has a pseudomonas infection in the wound that they are treating with a new antibiotic. He has been very grumpy and 'ouchy'.. I'm hoping it is due to the very uncomfortable cpap and not actual pain. Our nurses make sure he gets fentynal when he needs it though. He will hopefully be switched to the nasal cannula very soon.

It hasn't been the greatest week for us either.. started out with the evil Cadillac CTS (NEVER buy one.. NEVER!!!) breaking down, leaving us with one working vehicle which happens to be a huge diesel truck. It really sucks to drive that to Columbus every day... and I've decided I cannot park it in the Children's garage.. I have to travel to the roof parking area and take up 2 spaces..haha!!! The cost for fixing the evil cadillac this time is $1000!!!! So, having this shiny red lemon we decided to take it back to the dealer we bought it from last September and they offer to take it back as a trade-in yet we would have to roll over $4000 of negative equity into another vehicle... so I officially hate car dealerships now as well...lol!!! Wow.. and on top of that a skunk decides to spray our entire house making it almost unbearable to stay in.. .even though it was sprayed outside it immediately permeated the inside as well!! Greg and I just have to laugh sometimes at our bad luck... but we realize that none of it really matters as long as little Linc can grow and be happy... Anyone know how to reverse your luck?
